# Load State \[state.load]

Adds state previously dumped with `dump` to the current chain.

## Usage

This example adds state previously dumped with `dump` to the current chain.

Call `Actions.state.load` directly by passing the Client as the first argument.

## Parameters

### mode

* **Type:** `'anvil' | 'hardhat' | 'ganache'`
* **Default:** `'anvil'`
