Cancel Stale DEX Order
dex.cancelStale
Cancels a stale DEX order.
Usage
import { } from './viem.config'
const { } = await ..({
: 123n,
})
.('Cancelled order:', )
Cancelled order: 123nimport { , } from 'viem/tempo'
export const = .({
: .('0x...'),
})Asynchronous Usage
The example above uses the *Sync variant of the action, that will wait for the transaction to be included before returning.
If you are optimizing for performance, you should use the non-sync dex.cancelStale action and wait for inclusion manually:
import { } from 'viem/tempo'
import { } from './viem.config'
const = await ..({
: 123n,
})
const = await ..({ }).
const { } = ...(.)Recipes
Skip Cancels That Would Revert
Simulate the cancel first: cancelStaleOrder reverts for healthy orders, so a keeper can filter candidates before paying for a transaction.
import { } from 'viem/tempo'
import { } from './viem.config'
const = 123n
// Throws if the order is still backed by balance and allowance.
await ...(, { })
const { : } = await ..({ })
.('Cleared stale order:', )
Cleared stale order: 123nimport { , } from 'viem/tempo'
export const = .({
: .('0x...'),
})Sweep a Price Level for Stale Orders
Combine dex.getTickLevel with dex.getOrder to walk every order resting at a tick and clear the ones no longer backed.
import { } from './viem.config'
const = await ..({
: '0x20c0000000000000000000000000000000000001',
: true,
: -100,
})
let = .
while ( !== 0n) {
const = await ..({ })
// Healthy orders revert; skip them.
await ..({ }).(() => {})
= .
}import { , } from 'viem/tempo'
export const = .({
: .('0x...'),
})Return Value
